What is Borealis?

Named after both the iconic northern lights, and the lush Albertan boreal forest, Borealis is a modular home that tackles the societal problem of sustainable living in remote environments. Borealis has been carefully designed to be flexible to accommodate to the specific needs of the target market while operating in a challenging natural environment. Borealis features unique technologies such as a living wall, a centralized mechanical room, solar tubes and LED lighting. The sleek, angular aesthetic of the house is contemporary and appealing. Borealis has been designed to ensure a harmonious balance between simplicity, practicality, and functionality.
